Connecting Research and Practice
in Our Work for Education for All

Overview
The Canadian Global Campaign for Education (CGCE) collaborated with the Comparative and International Education Society of Canada (CISEC ) to host a 1-day forum called Connecting Research and Practice in Our Work for Education for All.
The Learning Forum provided an opportunity for academics, development practitioners, civil society organizations, and policy makers to share best practices, lessons learned and to discuss implications for future programming in the education sector.
Fifty-two (52) people attended, including participants from the Canadian Society for Studies in Education (CSSE), the, non-governmental organizations, members of the CGCE, and the Canadian government, and students of education and international development. The session was sponsored by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and was a pre-conference event of the CSSE and theCongress of Humanities and Social Sciences.
