On the Brink of 2015: A Shift in Focus from Education for All to Learning for All
February 28 & 29, 2012
The Education for All goals have guided unprecedented attention to basic education around the world for more than a decade. But how do we move beyond quantity issues to address the goal that perhaps has the most lasting impact – the quality of education?
Members of the Canadian Global Campaign for Education came together with colleagues across civil society, government and academia for 2 days of stimulating discussion about contexts and best practices emerging to ensure Learning for All, including:
- gender equality and girls’ education
- learning outcomes and literacy
- teacher training and development
Participants also discussed the unique role that Canada and Canadian civil society can play in ensuring Learning for All.
