As part of their ongoing Because I am a Girl campaign, Plan Canada has recently launched the 2009 Because I am a Girl Report - "Girls in the Global Economy: Adding it All Up."

Plan Canada is also spearheading a campaign to have September 22 declared the National Day of the Girl, in recognition of the importance of girls' rights and the link between investment in girls' rights and reducing global poverty. See their online petition.
